Protest leader Mukesh Dangi expressed frustration over the lack of action despite repeated assurances. "We have been fighting for justice for three years. Surveys were conducted earlier, but no steps were taken afterward. We stopped the construction today to highlight our plight," he said.
Dangi added that the protest was suspended following the SDM's promise to convene a meeting of stakeholders on Thursday to address their concerns. However, he warned, "If the government fails to meet our demands, we will resume our agitation on Friday."
