Rufa Mae Quinto admitted that she is still hoping to “clarify” things with her husband Trevor Magallanes amid their marital problems, with the actress also disclosing that the latter has yet to file for divorce.

Quinto spoke about the matter for the first time through an interview on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” Friday, Jan. 17.

“Bilang asawa, syempre inaantay ko lang na maklaro kami [at] mag-usap pa rin kung totoo ba talaga [na] ‘yan ang nararamdaman niya. Kasi lagi nga rin kasi akong wala e, so baka naman pwedeng lambingan na muna, makiusap,” she said.

Quinto underscored that there is always two sides to every story, although she noted that she knows she is not always right and that Magallanes also has his reasons.

“We’re going through something,” she continued. “Pero ‘yung legalities sa mga file-file, walang nag-file ng divorce.”

Quinto also said she still loves Magallanes and that she wants their family to be complete. She stressed, however, that she respects him and whatever his decision will be.

“Hangga’t nga walang nagpa-file, waiting lang. Kumbaga hindi mo tinatapos kasi para rin sa anak namin ‘yon,” she added, referring to their daughter Athena.

Quinto and Magallanes tied the knot in 2016, then welcomed their daughter in 2017.
